Testing Server For Mac
- Is there any open-source free tool for automated UI testing for Mac OS X (Cocoa) apps? So far I've seen commercial tools such as Squish and EggPlant. The only free tools I've read about are using UIAutomation or Automator. Does anyone have any experience with these tools? Any other options I should consider? Thanks in advance.

MQTT
This is test.mosquitto.org. It hosts a publicly available Eclipse Mosquitto MQTT server/broker. MQTT is a verylightweight protocol that uses a publish/subscribe model. This makes itsuitable for 'machine to machine' messaging such as with low power sensors ormobile devices.
For more information on MQTT, see http://mqtt.org/ or the Mosquitto MQTT man page.
The server
The server listens on the following ports:
- 1883 : MQTT, unencrypted
- 8883 : MQTT, encrypted
- 8884 : MQTT, encrypted, client certificate required
- 8080 : MQTT over WebSockets, unencrypted
- 8081 : MQTT over WebSockets, encrypted
The encrypted ports support TLS v1.3, v1.2 or v1.1 with x509 certificatesand require client support to connect. For ports 8883 and 8884 you should use thecertificate authority file (mosquitto.org.crt (PEM format), or mosquitto.org.der (DERformat)) to verify the server connection. Port 8081 has a Lets Encryptcertificate, so you should use your system CA certificates or the appropriateLets Encrypt CA certificate for verification.
Port 8884 requires clients toprovide a certificate to authenticate their connection. It is now possible togenerate your own certificate.
You are free to use it for any application, but please do not abuse or relyupon it for anything of importance. You should also build your client to copewith the broker restarting.
If you have the mosquitto clients installedtry:
- mosquitto_sub -h test.mosquitto.org -t '#' -v

After isolating an issue on your Mac to a possible hardware issue, you can use Apple Diagnostics to help determine which hardware component might be causing the issue. Apple Diagnostics also suggests solutions and helps you contact Apple Support for assistance.
If your Mac was introduced before June 2013, it uses Apple Hardware Test instead.
How to use Apple Diagnostics
- Disconnect all external devices except keyboard, mouse, display, Ethernet connection (if applicable), and connection to AC power.
- Make sure that your Mac is on a hard, flat, stable surface with good ventilation.
- Shut down your Mac.
- Turn on your Mac, then immediately press and hold the D key on your keyboard. Keep holding until you see a screen asking you to choose your language. When Apple Diagnostics knows your language, it displays a progress bar indicating that it's checking your Mac:
- Checking your Mac takes 2 or 3 minutes. If any issues are found, Apple Diagnostics suggests solutions and provides reference codes. Note the reference codes before continuing.
- Choose from these options:
- To repeat the test, click ”Run the test again” or press Command (⌘)-R.
- For more information, including details about your service and support options, click ”Get started” or press Command-G.
- To restart your Mac, click Restart or press R.
- To shut down, click Shut Down or press S.
If you choose to get more information, your Mac starts up from macOS Recovery and displays a web page asking you to choose your country or region. Click ”Agree to send” to send your serial number and reference codes to Apple. Then follow the onscreen service and support instructions. When you're done, you can choose Restart or Shut Down from the Apple menu.
This step requires an Internet connection. If you're not connected to the Internet, you'll see a page describing how to get connected.
